Adelaide Techguy Christmas Tips Segment For 5AA

So here are my christmas tips

iTunes gift card start at $20 / electrical store gift cards / game shop gift cards - dont buy people something they may not need if you are not sure

iPad2 , remember the new one will be out next year so don't grumble when it appears however the iPad is light years in front of the opposition

Media Players , around $150 (western digital )

Bluray player $100

Camera $100 -$300 , great value to be found and buy your first camera from a camera store as they go out of their way to support their customers

RTFM Read the manual, if you buy something electronic ,in fact download the manual before Christmas day and study it

If you buy a piece of electronic equipment that plugs into the computer / tv etc and you are unsure , ( say a media centre ) take a photo of where it is supposed to plug into with your phone so you can show the store to make sure you are buying the right thing.

Make sure you have batteries

If it breaks down in the first 30 days of use , you probably have an issue

The hottest games , Skyrim , Call of duty , modern warfare 3 ( older teens)

Nintendo ds , great for all ages

Flying shark , helium filled remote controlled shark ( just Google for suppliers)

Remote control helicopter - $50 and up

iPod watchs

Look for parts that may snap off on anything electronic you may buy

Buying a new TV , never had a better time to buy one , most retailers will discount and shop around
